The GORE-TEX® membrane is the heart of all KLIM® GORE-TEX® products. It contains over 9 billion microscopic pores per square inch. These pores are 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet, but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule, which makes the GORE-TEX® membrane completely waterproof from the outside, while allowing perspiration to escape from the inside. An oleophobic, or oil-hating, substance is integrated into the membrane, preventing the penetration of body oils and insect repellent that could otherwise affect the membrane.
Once you pick up speed on a snowmobile, the wind-chill can make a cold winter day feel unbearable. Before you head out for a day cruising the trails, make sure you’re protected with men’s snowmobiling gear that will block the wind from robbing precious body heat, while also keeping you dry from the snow and rain. Men’s GORE-TEX® snowmobiling clothing is designed to be durably windproof, waterproof and breathable so that when you’re speeding through the snow, you feel warm and dry. The secret to this optimized climate comfort is in the science. The revolutionary GORE-TEX® membrane that forms the basis of our men’s snowmobiling gear has billions of microscopic pores that are thousands of times smaller than a droplet of water, but 700 times bigger than a molecule of water vapor. This means that water can’t get in, but vapor from sweat can get out so that you stay dry from the inside out. To ensure total performance, our men’s snowmobiling gear is thoroughly tested in GORE-TEX® labs as well as out in the field so that we can stand behind our Guaranteed To Keep You Dry® promise. Gear up in our men’s snowmobiling clothing and enjoy the ride.
